I sent 300 letters to art critics around the world, stamped first post of the new millennium from Jerusalem.
Is the canvas art or just an ordinary object? Is it a spiritual object or a secular object?
It combines the opposites as it is the abstract product of a figurative and meaningful process.
The abstract expressionist experiments resulted in the rainbow swastika. The rainbow is a symbol of reconciliation. God turned the bow of war, that fired arrows of lightning, into a symbol of peace. So the swastika is a symbol that the Holocaust must never happen again and that we need to move onwards in peace. It is also a symbol of Hindu mysticism and links to the Jewish, mystical Kabbalah in balancing opposites.
