NATIONAL ART GALLERIES
The National Gallery London	- The National Gallery houses the national collection of Western European  painting.  It has around 2,300 pictures, including many instantly    recognisable masterpieces, and covers every European school of painting  from about 1260 to 1900.  These pictures belong to the public and    entrance to see them is free.

British Museum	- One of the great museums of the world.  This website will provide you  with information about the collections on display in the museum's    galleries and will help you plan your visit.
The Bowes Museum	- The Bowes Museum is a hidden treasure, a jewel in the heart of beautiful Teesdale.   The magnificent building stands proud in the historic market town of Barnard Castle   housing internationally significant collections of fine and decorative arts.
