Statement : My primary reference point is the component parts of the natural landscape such as the sky reflected in a puddle or groups of trees standing like silent watchers, or again the shifting forms and light of the sea shore. I work from a combination of sources: photographs, sketches made on site, sketches made from photographs and direct drawings. The paintings are usually in acrylics.
