art06, the third annual spotlight on the arts in the North West takes place in Preston on Thursday 8 June 2006.  

Highlights include David Edgar in a BBC Night Waves debate, performances by Horse and Bamboo, the Here + Now international visual arts programme including work by Kutlug Ataman.  Also guest DJ Gavin Turk, free food, free bar, MC actor, comedian and musician Mat Fraser and celebrity awards presenters Alan Yentob and David Edgar at the glitzy art06 awards party.

art06 is held in partnership with the Northwest Regional Development Agency, supported by the BBC and Preston City Council.
