The Kings Arms is a venerable inn whose history is linked with that of Kirkby
Lonsdale itself. In 1558 the manor was sold to Thomas Carus, who built the manor
hall that is today this fine inn. It has been tastefully refurbished over the
years, but some original features such as the fine fireplace remain. Tenants
Michael and Heather offer
real ales and great food every day. Adjacent there are three cottages available
for B&B or room-only accommodation. |
