The Tate has gone all hi-tec with the start of online art
courses. The first of these is Artists' Techniques and Methods. The cost is £20 and the

you'll receive a log-in code which will allow you access to: Gaudier-Brzeska's
Drawing Techniques Collage Techniques Turner and Watercolour Pre-Raphaelite
Composition and Symbolism Whistler's Oil Techniques Richard Hamilton and Mixed
Media. The technical requirements aren't too demanding: PC or Mac, Internet

but, as the course contains a lot of animation and video, you must have a fast
broadband connection or die of boredom. If anyone takes this course, please let
me know how you get on. Click the title link for more information.
